The combat system for example, is a bit more complex as you have fleets which during combat can be broken down in to 3 flotilla's, which based on your tactics cards, can perform various maneuvers, with bonuses and/or penalties to your fleet and or the enemy fleet.

I think the uniqueness of the factions, as well as the core traits of the factions and the customizable advantages and disadvantages for them to be a bit... constricting and imbalanced. That said though, still a lot of fun to play and learn.
