Subject: Hyundai / Kia is a great brand now - [Edit Post]          1   0

In my immediate family we've had 6 in the last 10 years. BIL had old Sportage that made it to 100k and replaced with another Sportage. My mom drives an older Tuscon. Dad used to have a Genesis coupe. In laws had a Sorrento which was only sold to get my MIL into something cheaper.

They're best bought used though as they depreciate pretty fast. We have a 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T that we bought new. Sticker on it was $35k+ but no one pays full price either at new. It's the FWD version but I just put light truck tires on it and it's been great but haven't had to deal with too much snow this year. The same model year with low miles should be under $20k. The base engine is cheaper even though it's just as quick.

The Tuscon got updated in 2016 and can also be found for under $20k
